Synthia is a Senior Project Manager at the City of Houston General Services Department – Major Projects. She manages the design and construction of major facility projects, working with the design team, GC, and city departments to drive the project scope, budget, and input for design concepts for the Capital Improvement Program.

Synthia has over 35 years with various projects from office, hotels, judiciary buildings, single-family, apartments, senior housing, high-density housing, high rise residential housing, mixed-use, planned residential developments, retail and tenant improvements coordination, and numerous other project types. She has extensive experience in Affordable Housing, HUD Projects, and Tax Credits for Seniors and Families.

She was a Senior Project Manager at Prairie View A&M University before joining the COH. She oversaw the Panther Collaboration & Innovation Commons, Solar Observatory Expansion, Architecture SEED Labs, Intramural Fields, and Texas Institute for Preservation of History and Culture Museum.  

She served several years on Houston's NOMA Project Pipeline Summer Camp committee.
