
Fallon Marie Barrett is a native Houstonian, wife, and mother of four. Fallon holds a B. A. in English Language Arts from Texas State University, as well as, a B.S. in Environmental Design and a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Houston and a Master of Architecture from Lawrence Technological University. She is currently an Architectural Designer for PLACE Designers Inc. and is actively seeking licensure.
For fourteen years Fallon was a stay-at-home mother but was a very active educational advocate for her children and the children in their community. Holding various volunteer positions including president of the PTO, President of the KPA, member of the GCCS Parent Policy Council, and the KIPP Student Health Advisory Committee. Fallon has been a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. since 2001 and is a current member of the Alpha Kappa Omega chapter in Houston, TX. Today, Fallon is an active member of the Houston Chapter of the NAACP, the AIA serving on the Houston Chapter’s Kids+Architecture Committee, NOMA serving as the Houston Chapter’s Secretary, Vice President of the Jack Yates Parent Teacher Organization, and a member of the Texas Society of Architects Educational Outreach Committee. Because of Fallon’s love for community involvement and architecture, she also participates in Community Based Design projects as a volunteer with the International Design Clinic, working on projects that benefit people in South Africa.
